Oracle Training Course

PL/SQL is a combination of SQL along with the procedural features of programming languages. It was developed by Oracle Corporation in the early 90's to enhance the capabilities of SQL. PL/SQL is one of three key programming languages embedded in the Oracle Database, along with SQL itself and Java. Explains what a PL/SQL nested block is and how to apply it in PL/SQL programming.

Introduces you to various forms of the PL/SQL IF statement including IF-THEN, IF-THEN-ELSE and IF-THEN-ELSIF statement.

Shows you how to use PL/SQL CASE statement and PL/SQL searched CASE statement.

Guides you how to use PL/SQL LOOP statement to execute a block of code repeatedly.

Executes a sequence of statements with a condition is checked at the beginning of each iteration with the WHILE loop statement.

Shows you how to execute a sequence of statements in the fixed number of times with FOR loop statement.

Teaches you how to handle exception properly in PL/SQL as well as shows you how to define your own exception and raise it in your code.
